2025 GTO Service Excellence Award – Program Winner: NextGen Jobs

The BMW NextTech Mentored Apprenticeship Program, delivered by NextGen Jobs in partnership with BMW Group Australia and Bendigo Kangan Institute, is a cutting-edge training initiative designed to equip the next generation of automotive technicians with future-focused skills. Launched in response to rapid technological advancements in the automotive sector—particularly in electrification, digital diagnostics, and automation—the program delivers a high-performance blend of technical training, structured mentoring, and accelerated learning pathways.

The program’s innovation and industry impact were recently recognised at a national level, with the award proudly accepted by NextGen Jobs National Manager, Mark D'Averesa, on behalf of the organisation and its partners. The recognition highlights the strength of collaboration between industry and education providers in building a future-ready automotive workforce and reinforces NextGen Jobs’ commitment to driving excellence in vocational training across Australia.
