Celebrating Excellence: Niral Perera Completes BMW #NextTech Apprenticeship

This week marks a proud milestone for Niral Perera, who has officially completed his automotive apprenticeship as part of the BMW #NextTech program.

Niral joined the very first intake of the BMW #NextTech initiative—an industry-leading, accelerated apprenticeship model delivered in collaboration between BMW Group Australia, NextGen Jobs, and Kangan Institute. From the outset, Niral demonstrated exceptional commitment to his technical training, workplace development, and the high standards of BMW’s service excellence.

Waverley BMW and the broader Jowett Motor Group have played a pivotal role in shaping Niral’s journey. With guidance from master technicians and service leaders, he has grown from a passionate learner into a confident and capable BMW Technician.

Becoming a Registered BMW Technician is no small feat—it reflects years of technical training, hands-on problem solving, and a deep understanding of precision automotive systems. For Niral, it also represents a major personal achievement and the beginning of a promising career in one of the world’s most prestigious automotive brands.
